DuoDerm Extra Thin hydrocolloid, sterile, low exuding single dressing with an adhesive polymer matrix and a polyurethane film outer layer. The dressing provides a moist environment to help the healing process and allows a non-traumatic dressing removal. DuoDerm Extra Thin dressing is suitable to use on superficial pressure sores, post-surgical wounds, ulcers (including diabetic foot ulcers) and burns.

Contraindications
Do not use if sensitive to the dressing or its components. Topical steroids should not be used with DuoDerm Extra Thin dressing.

Directions of use

1. Clean and dry the wound and surrounding skin
2. Remove the backing paper and film, trying to minimize contact with the adhesive surface
3. Apply the dressing, by gently rolling over wound, leaving 3cm beyond the wound
4. Do not stretch the dressing
5. Mould into place with hand and secure around the wound
6. In difficult locations, secure the edges with hypoallergenic tape
