Hartmann Atrauman Ag Dressing is a non-adherent contact layer that contains silver with anti-bacterial properties for the management of acute and chronic wounds such as ulcers and 2^nd degree burns. It helps to protect the wound while preventing maceration (soggy-looking, soft, pale skin resulting from prolonged exposure to moisture) to aid the healing progress.
Atrauman Ag thin and soft fabric helps ensure easy, close contact with the wound base while the non-medicated, paraffins-free impregnated fibers prevent it from adhering for painless removal and dressing changes with no residue.

• One 10 x 10cm dressing.
• Contact layer dressing for use under a secondary dressing.

Directions for Use:
Consult a healthcare professional before use of this dressing.
Remove from sterile pack and cut to size if needed. Atrauman Ag should overlap the wound and approximately the same size as the secondary dressing.
Remove the paper cover on one side an apply to the wound and remove the remaining paper cover. Do not fold or apply in multiple layers.
Secure with the secondary dress (absorbent, superabsorbent, foam dressing or gauze).
Apply a new one with each dressing. Do not wear the same dressing for more than 7 days.

Precautions:

• Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients.
• Seek medical assessment before use of this dressing.
• So not to reduce the efficacy do not use in combination with dressings or ointments containing paraffin.
• Must not be use in combination with iodine-containing preparations.

Ingredients:
Support fabric made of polyamide fibres coated with elemental silver.
The impregnation is non-medicated and triglyceride based (neutral lipids) which contains (INCI assigned names): Caprylic, Capric, Stearic Triglyceride; Bis-diglycerylpolyacyladipate-2 and Macrogol 2000.
