Pepto-Bismol 17.5mg/ml Oral Suspension 120ml providing the effective fast relief of a range of uncomfortable stomach symptoms. The Original formulation (which was different from today's) was developed at the beginning of the 20th century, when the standards of hygiene and sanitation were poor. Initially production could not keep up with demand. Fortunately now the increase in supply has made this readily available. Containing the active ingredient Bismuth Subsalicylate which forms a protective coating for the stomach and it helps by decreasing the flow of fluids and electrolytes into the bowel, reducing the inflammation within the intestine, and help fight the organisms that can cause diarrhoea.

Dosage: Shake well before use.

• Using the provided cup ~ measure a 30ml dose and swallow.
• Repeat dose every 30-60 minutes if required.
• Do not take more than 8 doses within 24 hours.
• The duration of treatment is for no longer than 2 days.

If experiencing diarrhoea it is important to prevent dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids or take oral rehydration products.

Cautions and Warnings:

• Do not take anything containing aspirin while taking this medicine.
• Do not use if you are under 16 years of age.
• Do not use if you are Pregnant or Breast Feeding.
• Do not use if you have stomach Ulcers, Blood Clotting Disorders or Bloody / Black Stool.
