Pepto-Bismol oral suspension contains 17.5 mg/ml Bismuth Subsalicylate which forms a protective coating in the stomach & digestive tract to quickly & effectively relieves upset stomachs, heartburn, indigestion, nausea, and diarrhoea.
  • 480ml liquid.

  • Helps relieves heartburn, indigestion, nausea, upset stomach, and diarrhoea.
  • Also a mild antacid.
  • Eases uncomfortable gas and belching.

  • Includes dosing cup.
Directions for Use:
Suitable for adults & children over 16 years of age. Please carefully read peel-back label before use.
Shake well before use.
Using the provided cup pour a 30ml dose and swallow. Repeat dose every 30-60 minutes if needed.
Do not take more than 8 doses within 24 hours.
Do not continue treatment for more than 2 days.
If experiencing diarrhoea it is important to prevent dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids or take oral rehydration products.

Cautions:
  • Do not exceed recommended use.
  • If symptoms persist or worsen discontinue use and consult your doctor.
  • Larger doses or prolonged use for more than 2 days has been associated with an increased risk of severe side effects.
  • Keep out of sight & reach of children.
  • Do not refrigerate or freeze.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you:
  • have fever, mucus in your stool, a blood clotting disorder, or gout.
  • are taking any medication for thinning blood (anticoagulants), diabetes, gout, arthritis (methotrexate), or tetracycline antibiotics.
Do not take if:
  • under 16 years of age.
  • allergic to benzoic acid, salicylates including aspirin, or any other listed ingredients.
  • taking other salicylates including aspirin.
  • pregnant or breast-feeding.
  • you have a stomach ulcer, blood clotting disorder, or bloody/black stool.
Ingredients:
Active: 525mg/ 30ml Bismuth Subsalicylate.
Other: Aluminium Magnesium Silicate, Methylcellulose, Gellan Gum, Methyl Salicylate, Sucralose, Salicylic Acid, Sorbic Acid, Benzoic Acid (E 210), Sodium Salicylate, Amaranth (E 123), and Purified Water.
