DermaSilk Ladies Leggings are made out of a silk which is significantly superior to cotton which has been proven to be effective in the management of eczema and dermatitis.

DermaSilk features:
Knitted, medical grade silk to help maintain body temperature and optimal moisture levels on the skin.
The bonded antimicrobial protects against a wide range of microbes without releasing chemicals onto the skin.
Antimicrobial effiacy cannot be washed or worn out.
DermaSilk can be used in combination with other treatments.

Washing instructions:
With careful washing your DermaSilk garment will retain its usefulness over a long time.
Always wash DermaSilk by hand with non-biological (enzyme-free) detergent suitable for sensitive skin. Rinse thoroughly.

Every 10 washes:
Soak DermaSilk in a solution of 2 tablespoons of bicarbonate of soda per litre of water overnight to maintain the softness of the fabric, then wash as above.

Care instructions:
Do not bleach DermaSilk as it will damage the structure of the silk.
Never use a fabric softener.
Use a cool steam iron if necessary.
As with all Delicate fabrics, dry horizontally on a soft towel.

Important information:
The efficacy of DermaSilk is dependant upon direct contact with the skin. If therapeutic creams, such as emollients and topical corticosteroids are used on the skin please make sure that they are completely absorbed before putting on the DermaSilk clothing.

The antimicrobial agent is bonded permanently to the silk and will not leach out of the fabric, even after repeated washes.
