Calcichew Forte chewable tablets are orange flavoured chewable tablets containing the active ingredient calcium. Calcium is found in the diet and is an important substance in bone formation. Calcichew forte is used to treat and help prevent calcium deficiency which may occur if your diet or lifestyle does not provide enough, or when body requirements are increased. This medicine may also be prescribed or recommended for certain bone conditions for example osteoporosis or during pregnancy. It may also be given to patients receiving renal dialysis to remove the phosphate from the blood that cannot be removed by dialysis.

Do not take Calcichew forte if you:
Are Allergic (hypersensitive) to calcium or any other ingredients of this medicine.
Have a condition that causes excess amounts of calcium in your blood or urine (hypercaemia or hypercalciuria)
Have kidney stones.

Instructions:
For oral administration.
Adults, elderly and children:
1 tablet to be chewed or sucked or as directed by your doctor.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not store above 30°C.
Keep the container tightly closed to protect from moisture.

Ingredients:
Each tablet contains 2500mg calcium carbonate (equivalent to 1g calcium).
Also includes isomalt (E953).
