Prostate health can be maintained and improved using a variety of medicinal and herbal treatments.

The prostate is an exocrine gland; a part of the male reproductive system. It is located just underneath the bladder, surrounding the urethra (the tube connecting from the bladder to the penis). A healthy prostate is about the size of a walnut. During puberty, the prostate grows but usually stays the same size until men reach their 40s. From there, hormonal changes causes it to grow again but it may not stop. For most men, the prostate can go on to cause problems at some point in later life.

Approximately 50% of men over 50 encounter problems due to increasing prostate size.
