Stugeron 15mg Tablets are a popular travel sickness tablet. Stugeron 15mg Tablets contain a medicine called Cinnarizine that help symptoms caused by balance or movement problems. This medicine is suitable for adults and children over 5 years.
Stugeron 15mg tablets are used to:
Control travel sickness.
For problems with balance (such as Ménière's disease) to treat symptoms of:
- Feeling dizzy or lightheaded.
- Ringing of the ears.
- Feeling sick (nausea) or being sick (vomiting).
Dosage:
For oral use. Read the package leaflet before use. The tablets can be sucked, chewed or swallowed.
For the control of travel sickness:
Adults the elderly and children over the age of 12: take two tablets two hours before travelling. Take one further tablet every eight hours, as required.
Children aged 5-12 years: Take one tablet two hours before travelling. Take one further half tablet every eight hours as required.
For disorders relating to disturbed balance (e.g., Ménière's disease):
Adults, the elderly and children over the age of 12 years take two tablets three times a day.
Children aged 5-12 years take one tablet three time a day.
Ingredients:
Active ingredients: Each tablet contains Cinnarazine 15mg.
Other ingredients: Lactose Monohydrate, Maize starch, Sucrose, talc, Magnesium Stearate and Polyvidone.
Warnings and precautions:
DO NOT take Stugeron tablets if: You are allergic to Cinnarizine or any ingredients in Stugeron tablets.
DO NOT take Stugeron tablets if: You are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or might become pregnant.
DO NOT take Stugeron tablets if: You are breast-feeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
Check with your doctor before taking Stugeron if:
You have Parkinsons disease.
You suffer from liver or kidney problems.
You have a blood problem calledd Porphyria.
Possible side effects:
like all medicines, Stugeron tablets can cause side effects although not everybody gets them.
Common (affects less than 1 in 10 people)
- Drowsiness.
- Feeling sick (nausea).
- Indigestion.
- Weight gain.
