A herbal medicinal product used for the short term relief of occasional constipation.

Senna tablets work by speeding up the passing of food through the digestive system, preventing water from being reabsorbed into the body and thus keeping stools softer.

Dose:
Adults and the elderly: Two tablets at bedtime when required.
Children over twelve years of age: One tablet at night as required.
Dose may be taken up to 3 times within a week. Do not use for more than 1 week.

Consult your doctor:
• If there is no bowel movement after 3 days.
• If symptoms worsen or persist.

Do not take if you:
• are allergic to any of the listed ingredients.
• are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• have kidney or heart conditions.
• have bowel or stomach problems.
• are under 12 years old.

Each tablet contains:
Alexandrian Senna Fruit (Pods) (Cassia senna L. (C. acutifolia Delile) fruit)) corresponding to 7.5mg hydroxyanthracene glycosides, calculated as Sennoside B.
