Directions for Use:
Install batteries and wait 10 minutes for the device to warm up on first use. If the device has not been used for a long time, test the room temperature first and use it after a couple of seconds.
Aim the infrared sensor at the forehead, holding the device approximately 5 cm (2 in) away. Press the measurement button, and the temperature will be displayed almost immediately.
For accurate readings, ensure that there is no hair, cosmetics, or coverings on the forehead.
If there is perspiration on the forehead the reading can be taken behind the ear lobe.
Allow one minute interval between two measurements.
