[quicklink Ovex] Single Pack - For the treatment of enterobius vermicularis ([quicklink threadworm]).

• Ovex chewable tablets are orange flavoured and contain Mebendazole 100mg.
• This Ovex pack provides treatment for 1 person.
• Adults and children over 2 years old.
• Orange flavoured.

Once you have taken [quicklink Ovex], the Mebendazole gets to work immediately and kills the worms. However, Ovex tablets may not destroy their eggs which can then cause re-infection.

• If re-infection does occur, a second Ovex tablet can be taken 14 days after the first dose, therefore it may be prudent to purchase a second pack with your initial order.

It is therefore strongly recommended to treat the whole household at the same time. If you prefer, there is an Ovex Family Pack available which contains 4 tablets. It is also important to wash hands before eating and after every visit to the toilet, wash linens frequently and bathe daily, concentrating around the anus. This will ensure eggs are removed and not spread.

Dosage:
Adults and children over 2 years: 1 Ovex tablet chewed or swallowed whole.
Crush the Ovex tablet before giving to young children.
Not to be given to infants under 2 years.
