Nutricia Nutilis Clear is a food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of dysphagia.

Nutilis Clear is a xanthan gum-based powder thickener for foods and fluids.

• A white, odourless, tasteless powder.
• Instantly thickens food and fluids.
• Gluten and lactose free.

Directions of use:
Add the prescribed amount of powder to a glass or bowl, and slowly add the drink or liquid while stirring continuously. Stir until the powder is completely dissolved.
Add Nutilis Clear until the desired consistency is reached to thicken pureed food.
The quantity of Nutilis Clear used may vary slightly depending on the temperature or thickness of the liquid and the viscosity required.

Warning :
For enteral use only. Must be used under medical supervision. To be used only as food/fluid thickener. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Not suitable for children under the age of three years of age. Use with caution in patients on a sodium-restricted diet.

To help with a safer swallow, Nutilis Clear has amylase-resistant features that help to protect against amylase in the mouth. As a result, drinks thickened with Nutilis Clear retain their consistency better in the mouth.
