Movicol Half 6.9g sachet powder for oral solution. is a laxative for the treatment of constipation suitable for adults, adolescents and the elderly. Movicol Half is a powder that is added to water to make an oral solution. The water retained by Movicol Half softens the stool and bulks it slightly encouraging bowel movement even if you have been constipated for a long time.
This product is Lemon & Lime flavoured.
Movical-Half also works in faecal impaction (very bad constipation).

Directions of use:
This medicine can be taken any time of day with or without food. Dissolve the content of each sachet in 62.5ml of water ¼ of a glass.

Constipation:
Adults, adolescents and elderly: Take 2 sachets 1-3 times a day depending on the severity.
Extended use: 2-4 sachets per day.

Faecal impaction:
Adults, adolescents and elderly: 16 sachets daily, all of which should be consumed within a six hour period each sachet dissolved 62.5ml of water ¼ of a glass.
For convenience 16 sachets can be dissolved in a litre of water to be taken within a 6 hour period.

• This medicine is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

Ingredients:
Each sachet contains: Magrocol 3350 (6.653g), Sodium Chloride (174.5mg), Sodium Bicarbonate (89.3mg), Potassium Chloride (23.3mg), also contains acesulfame K (E950).
