Mepilex Border is a self-adhesive, absorbent soft silicone foam dressing which help protect wounds against dirt & infection while creating an environment to promote the natural healing process.
This all-in-one dressing may be applied directly to the wound and absorbs & traps bacteria away from the wound.

• Size 10x10.5cm, foam pad 6.5x6.5cm.
• Suitable for a range of exudate management, including highly exuding wounds.
• No contact or secondary dressing required.
• Safetac soft silicone adhesive for non-traumatic removal.
• Flexible absorbent pad with super absorbent fibres.
• A breathable but waterproof outer film to protect against dirt & bacteria.
• Sterile, single use only.

Suitable for the use on:
Leg/Foot Ulcers • Pressure Ulcers • Traumatic wounds • Superficial Wounds.
May also be used on dry necrotic wounds when also applying gels.

Precautions:

• Do not use if hypersensitive to any of the material contents listed below.
• Do not use with oxidising agents such as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide.
• If signs of infection occur (fever and or skin becoming red, warm or swollen) consult a healthcare professional for suitable treatment.
