Kerramax Care is a super absorbent dressing is used to treat exuding wounds. Wound fluid can delay the wound-healing process. Kerramax absorbs exudate and locks it away inside the dressing. Kerramax has high absorption levels, enabling fewer dressing changes and minimising wound disturbance.
  • Super absorbent.
  • Soft non woven material.
  • With a heat sealed border to prevent leakage.
  • For use under all forms of compression.

13.5cm x 15.5cm, 10cm x 10cm and 20cm x 22cm.

Indications:
Suitable on weeping wounds, including leg, pressure, and diabetic foot ulcers.
Kerramax is suitable for use in all forms of compression.

Contra-Indications:
Known or hypersensitivity to any of the compounds of Kerramax Care.
There are no known side effects of Kerramax Care.
Sodium Polyacrylate, Viscose, Polyethylene Terephthalate, Vinyl Acetate.

Kerramax should not be used on:
  • eyes, mucous membranes or tendons due to the risk of dehydration.
  • Any cavity or sinuses as the dressing will swell on absorption.
  • Dry wounds as the absorption capacity may cause sticking to the wound or cause the wound to dry out.
  • Kerramax is not a dressing for Haemostat (Does not control blood flow).
Precautions:
  • For single use only.
  • For external use only.
  • Do not reuse; reusing will cause cross-contamination.
  • Do not cut the dressing -the outer cover must be intact.
  • Dispose of in normal waste if being used in a household.
Using Kerramax Care dressing:
  • Clean the wound according to local procedures.
  • Open the dressing pack and lay on the wound ensuring the dressing overlaps the edge of the wound. Either side of the pad can be used.
  • Lightly cover with a bandage to secure the dressing.
Frequency of change.
Check the dressing at regular intervals and change it according to the clinical condition of the wound or when it is saturated.
If the condition of the wound deteriorates, discontinue use and consult your healthcare professional.
Kerramax Care can be left in place for several days; however, this depends upon the wound's condition and the skin in the peri-wound area.
