Since its release in 2008, Emporio Armani Diamond has enjoyed considerable success with a number of Diamond perfume variants now available. More forceful and overt in appeal than many of its predecessors, it seems that Diamond gains favour with Armani fans for its break from conservative cool.

Starting with bergamot, a staple for male scents, the top notes are then coloured with smoky accents of guaiac wood. Vertiver and cedar wood tones at the heart are enriched by seductively spicy Szechuan pepper. This rousing anthem of aromas then finishes with amber expertly blended with the inviting flavours of cacao.

Cited by men and women alike as a delicious, sexy, ardently masculine scent, Diamond for him has a stronger appeal and so is often thought of as a fragrance for evening functions.
