Chloe

Chloe is the name of a French fashion house started by Egyptian born Gaby Aghion in 1952. Accredited with coining the phrase "prêt-à-porter" (meaning 'ready to wear') Aghion produced work which vastly contrasted from the stiff formalism of made to measure 1950s fashions. Selling softer, luxurious, firm fitting designs which a clothe buying clientele were able to buy directly off the rack was a ground breaking concept for the time and one which has come to change the landscape of fashion.

Producing fragrances in association with long-established perfumers Coty, Chloe has been in the fragrance market since the 1970s, with it's debut Fragrance Chloe enduring as a feminine classic. Keeping up with the fickle trends of taste Chloe by Chloe has been reworked in 2008 to suit a more modern audience.
