Avomine 25mg Tablets delivers 25mg of promethazine theoclate per tablet which helps to prevent and relieve general nausea and vomiting, including travel sickness and vertigo.

Directions for Use:
Please carefully read enclosed leaflet before use.
Alway take as advised by or doctor. Do not take for more than 7 days without further consulting your doctor.

For adults:

Prevention of travel sickness on long journeys: 1 tablet to be taken each night at bedtime starting on the night before travel.
Prevention of travel sickness on short journeys: 1 tablet taken 1 or 2 hours before travel.
Treatment of travel sickness: 1 tablet as soon as sickness is felt, followed by a second tablet the same evening. A third tablet may be taken the following evening if necessary.
Nausea and vomiting due to other causes: 1 tablet at night is often sufficient, more frequently twice or three times daily if required. Maximum 4 tablets in 24 hours.

For children over 10 years old: give the lower adult dose (1 tablet).
For children aged between 5-10 years old: give half the lower adult does (half a tablet).

Cautions:

• Not suitable for children under 5 years old.
• Do not take if you are allergic to any phenothiazines or any of the listed ingredients.
• Do not take if you have taken depression medication known as Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) within the past 14 days or have CNS depression.
• Consult a medical professional before taking if you suffer from glaucoma; epilepsy; heart problems; liver problems; kidney or bladder problems; a chest condition such as asthma or bronchitis; severe headaches, stomach pains, or ear problems; a bad cough; or Reye's Syndrome.
• Consult a medical professional before use if taking any other medication.
• Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication.
• If pregnant or breastfeeding do not take this medication unless recommended to do so by your doctor.
• May cause dizziness, sleepiness, disorientated/confusion, or headaches - do not drive or operate machinery until you are sure you are not experiencing any such ill-effects.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
