Acnecide Face Wash 5% w/w Gel 50g is an effective treatment for mild acne* located on the face. The contained active ingredient, Benzoyl Peroxide, kills 95% of the bacteria that are the main cause of acne. Microsphere technology also helps to absorb unwanted excess oil and releases glycerine to moisturiser the skin.

*Mild Acne: Appears predominantly as blackheads and whiteheads with few to no spots or pimples and no inflamed spots.

Directions for Use:
Please carefully read enclosed leaflet before use.
Follow specified usage direction on this product unless otherwise advised by your doctor or pharmacist.
Rinse and wet your face. Apply 1-2 times daily to cover the affected area. Leave for 1-2 minutes before rinsing clean and drying. Wash hands after each use.
Start by using this product on alternate days to minimise this risk and then gradually increase the frequency up to twice a day use if tolerated.
If acne worsens while using Acnecide Face Wash or does not improve within 12 weeks consult your doctor or pharmacist for further advice.

Do not use if you:

• Have moderate to severe acne with inflamed red spots or pimples, or previous scarring from acne.
• Have acne acne on other parts of your body.
• Are sensitive or allergic to any of the listed ingredients below.

Cautions:

• Not suitable children aged under 12 years old.
• Only for use on the face for mild acne.
• Do not apply to damaged skin.
• Undertreatment of some forms of acne may cause scarring.
• Do not use alongside other Benzoyl Peroxide containing products.
• Consult a medical professional before use if you are pregnant, planning to have a baby, or breastfeeding.
• Avoid contact with eyes, eyelids, lips, or other delicate areas.
• May bleach hair and dye fabrics.
• If irritation, redness, itching, or peeling occur discontinue use immediately and consult your pharmacist or doctor.
