Veganin

Veganin tablets contain three active ingredients to provide powerful relief of headache and pain. It is suitable for the relief of mild to moderate pain including:

• Migraine.
• Headache.
• Rheumatic pain.
• Period pain.
• Toothache.
• Neuralgia.
• Sore throat.

The active ingredients are Paracetamol, Codeine and Caffeine. Paracetamol is a common painkiller and antipyretic (temperature reducer). When the body experiences an injury or pain it produces prostagaldins. Paracetamol blocks the production of these which makes the brain less aware of pain.

Codeine works by mimicking the body's own pain reducing chemicals called endorphins. The codeine, like the naturally occuring endorphins, connect with the opiod receptors in the brain to reduce pain signals transmitting from the body to the brain. This means that even when pain is present less pain is felt. Caffeine is included as it is thought to speed up the absorption of Paracetamol.
