About Replens

Replens works in a different way from other moisturisers or lubricants. Whereas most moisturisers provide immediate and short-term lubrication, Replens is designed to stay inside the vagina for up to 72 hours.

How Replens works

Replens comes in the form of a gel that gradually releases purified water. Replens gel clings to the walls of the vagina for up to 72 hours. During this time, the water is transferred into the walls of the vagina where it is most needed.

Replens - ingredients

Replens comes in a pre-filled, single-use applicator containing 2.5g of the gel.

Ingredients:
78.82% Purified Water, Polycarbophil, Mineral oil, Glycerin, Hydrogenated palm oil, Glyceride, Carbomer 974P, Sorbic acid • Sodium hydroxide.

Note that the ingredients of Replens also help to restore the vagina's natural acidity.

How to use Replens

Apply in the morning, so that the natural movement of the body can distribute the gel around the walls of the vagina. Use the applicator to apply 1 dose into the vagina 3 times a week. Use Replens regularly for best effect. You can use Replens indefinitely as it is non-toxic and safe for long-term use. It is safe to have sex after using Replens: however, it is not necessary to use Replens immediately before intercourse, because its effect is long-lasting.
