Micralax is a micro-enema. It works by softening the stools and in this way helps to relieve constipation and clear the bowel, especially in bedridden patients, the elderly, those giving birth and children. Micralax may also be used before some examinations of the bowel.

Suitable for bedridden patients, the elderly, children, women giving birth or those deliberately not passing stool.

The usual dose for adults and children over 3 years is one tube. Micralax usually works within 5 to 15 minutes, so make sure you are near a toilet before using it. Always use a fresh tube of micralax every time.

Cautions:

• Consult your doctor is symptoms worsens or persist.
• Do not use if you suffer from any inflammatory bowel diseases, such as ulcerative colitis.
• Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed below
• If you are/planning to be pregnant or breastfeeding consult your doctor before use.
• Store under 25°C.

Ingredients:
One dose of Micralax is contained in each 5ml tube.
Each dose contains 450mg sodium citrate and 45mg sodium alkylsulphoacetate. Micralax also contains sorbitol solution, glycerol, sorbic acid and purified water.
