Going To The Hospital

You are introduced to the Bell Family. Ben who is 6 years old has a poorly ear. His mum takes him to the Doctors who advise him to have an operation. The book describes what happens on arrival at the hospital, introduces the nurses and shows some of the tests they carry out. Ben meets the surgeon and is taken for his operation, his mum goes with him down the corridor. When the operation is over the book shows how Ben can start to play with the other children, have some food and drink and enjoy having visitors. Once Ben's earache is better he is allowed to go home and says goodbye to the nurses
