A migraine is an intense and throbbing headache and most commonly occurs on one side of the head. Common symptoms include nausea and vomiting but migraine sufferers can also experience visual disturbances such as blurriness and dots.
Some sufferers experience warning signs that precede the onset of a migraine, these include: tiredness, yawning or excitability; but often there is no warning at all.
