Royal Jelly is the food secreted by the nurse bees and fed to the growing Queen. It consists of about two thirds water and one third dry matter. It is the one third dry matter that works the miracle. Included in its complex structure is an antibiotic a quarter as active as penicillin (but with none of the side effects). Proplois is used by bees to keep them free of disease. The antibacterial antiviral properties of propolis increase the bodies resistance to infection without destroying the useful bacteria.
