Take control of your health with a Personal Screening Chlamydia Screening Test...
How does the test work?
You provide a urine sample in the comfort of your own home.
Post the sample to the laboratory. They analyse it and send you your results in the post around a week later.
N.B. This test is suitable for use by both men and women.
In-vitro diagnostic use only, not for internal use.
Why do this test?
To check for the presence/absence of Chlamydia trachomatis bacteria in a urine sample provided by the user of this self-test kit.
Because Chlamydia is a threat to your health if left untreated.
Because there is now an accurate test for the infection using a urine sample.
Because the infection can be easily treated, thereby preventing long-term complications such as infertility or ectopic pregnancy.
Kit contains:
Plastic pouch with two pockets, one containing a postal tube, the other a client information form). There is a snaptop seal which will be used to seal the pouch before sending it to the laboratory.
A cardboard postal tube, lined with an absorbent material in case of leakage, with plastic covers on each end.
Inside the tube is a urine sample collection bottle with a screw top.
Check that the test reference number on the sample bottle, postal tube and client infomation form are all the same, if not then do not proceed. The number is unique and has been allocated to you.
