The UA-782 is clinically validated to the highest British Hypertension Society standard. It is designed to detect the pulse and to automatically inflate the cuff to a systolic pressure level.

The irregular heartbeat indicator lights up if an irregular heartbeat is detected during the measurement and helps users to find an irregular hearbeat which may be associated with cardiovascular disease (this is for warning purposes only. A & D Medical recommends contacting a physician if the user sees this indicator frequently).

Directions for use:
Sit down comfortably and support the arm on a surface so the centre of the cuff is the same height as your heart.
Relax for 5-10 minutes before taking the reading.
Remain still and keep quiet during measurement.
Do not measure right after physical exercise or a bath.
Rest for 20-30 minutes before taking the measurement.
During measurement, it is normal for the cuff to feel very tight. Refer to the included manual for descriptions of symbols displayed on the UA-782 once it has taken measurements.
